Since she was 12 or 13 years old, Madi has been practicing makeup. As her skills developed, she began receiving inquiries from people, family, and friends asking, "Who did your makeup?" and particularly, "Who did your eyebrows?" Initially, this talent felt more like a hobby or passion rather than a financial pursuit.

Madi's signature makeup style is best described as natural glam, with an everyday look that includes a bright under-eye touch. Her makeup inspiration draws from established brands and other renowned artists. Clients are welcome to bring their own ideas sourced online, fostering a collaborative approach to achieving their desired looks.

How do you ensure client satisfaction while staying true to your artistic vision?

Madi: “Once a client provides a look they would like, I ask them if they want it exactly like the picture. If the client does want it exactly like the picture, I’ll do it, no problem. If I get a “similar to the picture”, I play around with different colors, ensuring it’s still similar to the initial look”.

Although Madi ensures client satisfaction she also endures some challenges as a makeup artist. One is not being as booked as she would like. However, she has a mentor and her faith in God to guide her along the way.

If you could collaborate with any celebrity or public figure on a makeup project, who would it be and why?

Madi: “If I could collaborate with any celebrity on a makeup project, I would have to say it would be Alonzo Arnold. The way he puts his looks and hair together and gains so many positive responses, that would be a dream”.
